About Me

Hi, my name is Kiana!

Growing up with the Internet in the mid-aughts made me very familiar with WYSIWYG content management systems, from to Livejournal to Tumblr. Didn’t realize that blogging my teenage angst would be useful to my studies in graduate school.

Currently, I am a GSLIS candidate at CUNY Queens College with an interest in children and young adult services in the public library. Yay! (HIRE ME).

I created this blog for one of my classes, 700 The Technology of Information. In this course learned how to use various information technologies to enhance my skill set and prepare to be a librarian in the 21st Century. I made a website with the basics of HTML/CSS, created Wiki pages, created a comic strip, and made a simple video game.

I have a background in art history, visual art, graphic illustration, and basic HTML/CSS. I also like giant schnauzers, watching video game walk-throughs, and sniffing tea blends. Can’t wait for the heath death of the universe. Big Chill, baby!

A note: Black Lives Matter, sex workers’ rights are human rights, and we’re living on stolen land from Indigenous people.

There’s not much else to say, except, thank you! ❤️
